These shrimps thrive in environments that replicate their natural reef habitat, preferring to set up their cleaning stations among live rock or coral. They are peaceful creatures but require tank mates that won’t view them as food. Care for the Skunk Cleaner Shrimp involves maintaining stable water conditions. Proper iodine levels are necessary for their molting process. Though they mainly feed on parasites and dead tissues from fish, their diet should be supplemented with freeze-dried, frozen, and flake foods.
